Contains: 12 - 2oz bags of loose white sage. Directions: place a small amount of sage onto a fireproof dish, on a heat-tolerant surface. Ignite a few pieces of the sage. Once a flame is established, gently blow out the flame. The sage should be smoldering with no visible flame. Proceed with smudging. To exstinguish, cover dish with fireproof lid.
